Indonesia is the world's largest tin Market. Although minerals production traditionally centered on bauxite, silver and tin production, Indonesia is expanding its copper, nickel, gold, and coal output for export market.

By seizing opportunity in mining, Rabana Group established another sister company,
PT Ricobana Abadi in 1985. This company active in the field of heavy equipment rental services, construction and supply of spareparts. With current mining project at several multinational and state owned company supported by continuous management improvement and advance technology implementation, the company believed to have a solid opportunity to become a World Class contractor.

In addition as mining contractor, Rabana Group under its sister companies, PT Batubara Duaribu Abadi (BDA) and PT, Batubara Duaribu Lestari (BDL) began its involvement in coal mining when it obtained a Coal Contract work for concession covering 24,958 Ha and 4,767 Ha in regency of North and South Barito, in Central of Kalimantan. At the moment, BDA is at feasibility study and construction stage, BDL is at exploitation stage.
